                                                                                        Mr. Car Alarm

Let's see how a thief steals car.

>> Prying open a side mirror. A thief pries open a side mirror using his tool. Next he inserts his hand into the inside to unlock the car and pries open the ignition chamber using a screw driver. Then he connects a direct electrical wire to start the engine and drives the car away.

>> Using false keys. A thief has already made several false car keys. Then he tries using each one to open the door.

>> Printing the key. A thief makes friends with a car care worker, a filling station worker, etc., next he hires him to print the key onto a plasticine – the pay is only 200–300 baht a car. The worker will keep the printed plasticine and write down the plate number for the theft, then the thief makes a copy of the key at a key shop. The price is only 10-20 baht each. Having received the key copy, he begins hunting.

>> Making a key. A thief makes keys of different shapes but no key has zig-zag pattern. Next the thief paints the key using black Indian ink. When the ink completely dries, he inserts the key into the key hole and twists it left and right to get the zig-zag pattern inside the key hole. Then he can make the other exact key.

>> Using a wire to pull up a door-locking button. A thief tries to move a window glass down a bit so that he can insert a wire with a loop at the end into the inside to pull up the locking button.

>> Using a perpendicular screw-driver. A thief uses a flat screw-driver which is one foot long (including the handle). The perpendicular end is one-third of the whole length. The thief will insert its end into the key hole and pry open it. Then the hole will be broken and he can get into the car.

>> Using acid. A thief uses a syringe to take acid from the bottle and put it into the key hole to destroy it. Then he can get into the car and connect a direct electrical wire to the ignition chamber.

>> Opening the back glass. A thief pries open the back glass using a screw driver to cut the rubber around the glass. Then he will get into the car and connect a direct electrical wire to the ignition.

>> Using a small metal bar. A thief uses a small flat or round metal bar to insert into the hole under a door handle. Then he uses it to push up the inside lock button so that he can open the door.

>> Using a special key. A thief has a special key made of a plane wing. The key has a zig-zag pattern and is as thick as a general key. The price is around 10,000 baht each. Since this type of keys is specially strong, it can break the key chamber when a thief inserts it into the key hole and twists it hard.

>> Pulling out the whole key chamber with pliers. A thief pulls a key chamber out hard with pliers. Next he brings it to a key maker to produce a false key. Then he begins to steal the car when possible.

>> Hijacking. The thieves generally use a motor-cycle as their vehicle. One rides it, the other sits at the back. They will track a car owner. When the car passes a deserted place, the motor-cycle driver will drive to crash the car. Then they stop to see the damage and use the prepared weapon such as a knife to threaten the car owner before driving his car away.

>> Using sleeping pills. The thieves have two working steps. First, four to five women pretend to take a taxi to send them somewhere. Then they pay for the fare. Second, a week later the group of women will take the same taxi. On the way, one of them persuades the taxi-driver to have some food or drink which has been mixed with sleeping drug. When the driver becomes unconscious, the thieves will leave him in a reserved hotel room. They will bring his car key to their associates before the car is driven away
