• A driver. A driver will drive the stolen car to the place appointed with a middleman.
• A middleman. A middleman is mostly a Thai living near the border. When he finds that the driver has already parked the stolen car in the forest, the department store parking space or the gas station, he will contact the fifth associate, the buyer.
• A car-buyer.
All the five associates have mostly never seen each other before but they can work together through the appointment by phone or other communication devices. Such way of theft is popularly done on the border between Thailand and Cambodia , Thailand and Laos and in many parts of the north-eastern Thailand . |
